ATA BROADWAY STUDIO

What is the ATA Broadway Studio?
Atlantic Theatre Arts is excited to offer a performing arts laboratory that focuses on versatility by fostering an exchange of artistic values and knowledge through performance oriented working sessions. Our goal is to work together with joy and diligence in order to grow, play, and share with other participants and a live audience. Much like the style of "The Actors Studio", members will serve participate in group exercises, individual and ensemble songs and scenes throughout the year to deepen the work.

Who will I be working with?
The Broadway Studio offers anglophone cultural leadership curated and led by Adam Alexander along with accomplished guest artists. "Broadway" is not to be limited to a genre, but a standard of excellence. The studio is a place of collaboration, in which to explore various aspects of the performing arts and put them into practice, including acting, voice and speech, singing, dancing, movement, and stage combat.

Participants will range in level and experience, with seasoned professionals working along side emerging artists in order to foster a healthy exchange for support,  opportunity and growth.

What will we be working on?
This season we are looking forward to offering Man of La Mancha and Guys and Dolls to serve as a foundation for solo and ensemble work. Studio performances during the year will be given to ensure that the full artistic journey from script to stage is experienced by the participants. During studio sessions, other songs, monologues, and choreography may be introduced to use for performers to hone their craft.

How do I join?
The Studio will be selected through an audition process. We are currently able to accommodate up to 25 dedicated participants in the Studio. Auditions will be held via video and in person on November 2, 2025. If you wish to submit a video instead of attending in person on Nov 2, you are welcome to send your submission to casting.atlantictheatrearts@gmail.com.
