Women: Keep Marching est un concert construit autour de 4 figures féminines que l'on retrouve dans l’œuvre Well-Behaved Women de la compositrice américaine Carmel Dean. Son concept album regroupe une collection de chansons inspirées par des femmes historiques qui se sont battues pour faire entendre leur voix. En mettant en lumière quatre facettes de la femme, Women: Keep Marching offre un voyage musical mêlant émotion, réflexion et célébration.

🔹 1e partie – La femme soumise aux exigences de perfection

Portant les attentes et les jugements du monde, la femme est souvent perçue comme fautive. Qui mieux qu’Ève, première femme et première "coupable", pour incarner cette figure ?

🔹 2e partie – La femme dans un monde d’hommes

Plongée dans un univers où elle doit se faire une place, elle fait face aux regards et aux préjugés. Marie-Madeleine, seule femme au milieu des apôtres lors de la Cène, illustre ce combat intemporel.

🔹 3e partie – La femme militante

Engagée pour l’égalité et la justice, elle lutte souvent contre vents et marées. Billie Jean King, en battant Bobby Riggs au tennis, brise les stéréotypes et prouve que les femmes peuvent être les égales des hommes.

🔹 4e partie – La femme maman

Qu’elle soit aimante, protectrice ou imparfaite, la figure maternelle marque nos vies. Hua-Li, la mère de Mulan, incarne à la fois la tendresse et l’inquiétude, illustrant les multiples visages de la maternité.

À travers des chansons méconnues de comédies musicales et quelques classiques universels, ce concert fera rire, pleurer et chanter toute la salle, célébrant la force, la résilience et l’amour des femmes.

Striving to find her place in a male-dominated world, she faces scrutiny and prejudice. Mary Magdalene, the only woman among the apostles during the Last Supper, symbolizes this timeless struggle.

🔹 Part 3 – The Activist Woman

Committed to equality and justice, she fights against all odds. When Billie Jean King defeated Bobby Riggs in tennis, she shattered stereotypes and proved that women can stand as equals to men.
