AUDITIONS — FALL SEASON 2026
Macbeth & A Christmas Carol - La Scène Parisienne, Paris
Atlantic Theatre Arts is looking for exceptional performers to join us for two ambitious
productions at La Scène Parisienne this autumn.
We maintain high artistic standards in everything we do. If you are serious about your craft,
value ensemble work, and want to be part of a growing anglophone performing arts
community in Paris, we want to hear from you.
THE PRODUCTIONS
Macbeth — William Shakespeare
Performances: Mondays, September 21 — October 19, 2026
- A chamber theatre production for four-actors inhabiting inhabiting multiple characters with
physical and vocal distinction.
-We are looking for actors with genuine range, physical intelligence, comfort with
shakespearean verse, and the ability to shift between radically different registers quickly and
cleanly.
A Christmas Carol — adapted from Charles Dickens
Performances: Mondays, November 23 — December 28, 2026
A six-actor production with live unaccompanied choral singing woven throughout. Traditional
English carols sung to a professional choral standard are central to the storytelling — this is
not incidental music, but the heart of the production.
We are looking for actor-singers with strong ensemble voices capable of holding their own in
an unaccompanied setting.
Voice types required: Soprano, Soprano/Mezzo, Alto, Tenor, Bass-Baritone.
UNDERSTUDIES
Understudies for both productions are sought. Understudies at ATA are part of the company
and will have guaranteed stage time during the season. This is not a safety net role — it is a
full company position.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Performers working at a professional level, or serious emerging artists ready to step up. All
performances are in English — you do not need to be a native English speaker, but you
must be comfortable performing in English at a high level. Bilingual and multilingual artists
are warmly encouraged to apply.
COMPENSATION AND STATUS
ATA is set up to work with both intermittent du spectacle and auto-entrepreneurs. All
performers joining the season will be enrolled as ATA members at no cost to them, covering
company insurance for the duration of the productions. Exact compensation varies per
production and will be discussed at engagement.
HOW TO AUDITION

• One monologue of your choice (Shakespeare required to be considered for Macbeth)

Christmas Carol.
